JENNIFEROffice Manager and Insurance Coordinator
Jennifer has been a Health Horizons patient since 2005 and has used chiropractic for the past 20 years for wellness of her spine and low back condition. She joined the team at Health Horizons in February of 2011 as an extension of her love for chiropractic and natural healing. She oversees our insurance department, proper billing and insurance narratives and took over as office manager in 2017. She resides in Fox Chapel with her husband and two children.
AMANDAFront Desk Coordinator
Amanda started at Health Horizons in October of 2016. She wanted to work somewhere that combined her skills, knowledge, and ability to help others. She has a medical background, but loves the holistic way of healing. She utilizes the benefits of chiropractic and nutritional care for herself and her family. Amanda became our Front Desk Coordinator in 2017 where she oversees and trains our front desk receptionists. She lives in Sarver with her husband, Jerry, and her son, Aiden. In her spare time, she enjoys doing various forms of art work.
DAISYReceptionist and Doctors Assistant
Daisy joined our staff in January of 2018 looking for a small business to call home after working in retail management. She has a passion for all things organization, a spunky attitude and a hunger to learn which she hopes will continue to translate in assisting to build positive experiences for our clients. Personally she has loved seeing the impactful benefits of consistent chiropractic care for her chronic back pain. She loves life and all things Pittsburgh. She recently moved into the Oakmont area with her mom and Frenchie, Miss AnnaBelle Lily.
SAMReceptionist and Doctors Assistant
Sam joined our team in May of 2018 seeking a career that combined her interests in health, wellness and helping others become their best selves. She found a home at Health Horizons. Since starting chiropractic care, as well as utilizing the Nutrition program at Health Horizons, she has seen improvement in all aspects of her life. Sam resides in Oakmont and enjoys traveling, a good book and practicing Taekwondo.
CHERIEReceptionist and Doctors Assistant
Cherie joined the Health Horizons team in March of 2013 seeking 'something completely new' after her 30 year career with a finance company. She began chiropractic and nutritional care in April and has experienced increased energy, mobility and endurance and has realized great results in weight loss. Cherie resides in Oakmont with her husband. They have two grown children. 'I had no idea this special place providing a holistic approach to health and wellness was quietly tucked in my home town. I am thrilled to be part of this team and I am learning so much regarding incorporating positive life style changes into my daily life.
ANDREALifestyle Education Coordinator
Andrea joined the Health Horizons team in 2000. She began her own care at Health Horizons over 10 years ago and has experienced great results. Andrea’s role as a Lifestyle Education Coordinator includes assisting the doctors in nutritional testing sessions and acting as a liaison between the doctors and the patients for their nutritional concerns. She serves as a health coach by helping patients implement their recommended programs and incorporate positive lifestyle changes. In her free time, she enjoys working in her art studio.
KARLINutritional Assistant and Receptionist
Karli became a part of the Health Horizons team in November 2015 looking for a place where she could expand her knowledge and interest in holistic/alternative medicine and natural healing. In addition to working our front desk, she acts as an assistant in our nutritional department and helps facilitate the care of the patients in our Shape ReClaimed program. Karli was previously a chiropractic patient at different practices in the area, but she has found the best results as a patient at Health Horiozns with the use of the Activator method of adjustment. 'The staff at Health Horizons is passionate, well-educated and devoted to bettering themselves and others, promoting wholistic lifestyle changes and overall wellness.' Karli spends her free time making music, doing yoga, kayaking and hiking.
BECCA HEYNSLicensed Massage Therapist
Becca is a graduate of the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy and is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. She has practiced as a massage therapist for the past 16 years. Becca specializes in Muscle Release Techniquesm. This technique provides great relief to patients who have repetitive use injuries and areas of chronic pain. Throughout her years of practice, she has worked in a health club and a spa setting, where she provided Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, and prenatal massage. Becca joined the team at Health Horizons in 2008. ‘I’m delighted to work in an environment where holistic health care is practiced.’
CHRISTINA HOSLERLicensed Massage Therapist
Christina is a graduate of the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy with an emphasis on Swedish, neuromuscular and myofascial techniques. She has additional training in Muscle Release Techniquesm. Christina joined the team at Health Horizons in 2017. Prior to becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist, Christina earned her B.A. in Psychology as well as her Masters in Social Work. She worked for 11 years in neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh before leaving upon the birth of her second child. Christina has always had an interest in helping others and pursued her life-long dream of becoming a massage therapist. She is excited to be part of a team that promotes health and wellness based on the whole person. She enjoys family time at various Pittsburgh venues and making her two children laugh!
Cullen MaagLicensed Massage Therapist
Cullen graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Massage therapy in 2011. He has since been practicing in various holistic health settings. His style draws on influences from both classic Western massage and Eastern influences of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda. Cullen uses several techniques which include Swedish Flow, Neuromuscular Therapy/Trigger Point, Reiki and other specialized modalities such as Korean Cupping, Lymphatic Drainage and Myofascial Release. With his style of hands-on massage and bodywork, Cullen has enjoyed seeing his clients realize the benefits of increased comfort and function physically, but also mentally from 'becoming comfortable in their own skin and gaining a renewed outlook on what's possible in their lives'. While not practicing bodywork, Cullen can be found enjoying the beach, mountains and everything in between with his two children. He also enjoys competitive running in ultra endurance mountain events and practicing yoga.
