Every member of our staff actively receives chiropractic care and has experienced our other health enhancement services, therefore they would be happy to share their experiences and answer any questions you may have.

    Office Manager

    Jennifer has been a Health Horizons patient since 2005 and has used chiropractic for the past 20 years for wellness of her spine and low back condition. She joined the team at Health Horizons in February of 2011 as an extension of her love for chiropractic and natural healing. She oversees our insurance department, proper billing and insurance narratives and took over as office manager in 2017. She resides in Fox Chapel with her husband and two children.

    Michele joined our staff in February of 2019 after looking to get back to her chiropractic roots. She has worked in and has been utilizing the benefits of chiropractic for over 20 years and has been excited to learn more about the nutrition program at Health Horizons. Since starting here, she has seen improvements in her overall health and well-being. Michele has two grown children and loves reading, art and music.

    Sam joined our team in May of 2018 seeking a career that combined her interests in health, wellness and helping others become their best selves.  She found a home at Health Horizons. Since starting chiropractic care, as well as utilizing the Nutrition program at Health Horizons, she has seen improvement in all aspects of her life. Sam resides in Oakmont and enjoys traveling, a good book and practicing Taekwondo.

    Danielle joined the Health Horizons team in July of 2021.  Having worked in retail for the past 20 years, finding Health Horizons was an absolute blessing. 'I love being able to interact with the patients and bring a smile to their faces.'

  • Shayleen
    Nutritional Assistant and Doctors Assistant

    Shayleen has been a part of the Health Horizons family since the Fall of 2019 after leaving her career in in-patient dialysis. She truly enjoys being a part of an environment that focuses on healing the whole self instead of managing symptoms. By working at Health Horizons she has discovered a passion for holistic healing, and recently completed her A.A.S. in Integrative Health through The American College of Healthcare Sciences. She also holds a 200 hour Y-RT Yoga Certification, and a certificate in Integrative Health and Wellness through ACHS. Since starting with Health Horizons she has grown into the role of Nutrition Assistant. She enjoys working with, and educating patients on the different ways they can support their body in a more natural way. Outside of the office Shayleen spends her free time sewing/crafting, reading, experimenting with recipes, and being active in any way that she can!


    Licensed Massage Therapist

    Becca is a graduate of the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy and is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. She has practiced as a massage therapist for the past 20 years. Becca specializes in Muscle Release Technique℠. This technique provides great relief to patients who have repetitive use injuries and areas of chronic pain. Throughout her years of practice, she has worked in a health club and a spa setting, where she provided Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy and prenatal massage. Becca joined the team at Health Horizons in 2008. ‘I’m delighted to work in an environment where holistic health care is practiced.’

    Licensed Massage Therapist

    Karli is a 2021 graduate of the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy. Her interest in the massage therapy profession stemmed from 6 years of assisting the chiropractors at Health Horizons where she gained a well-rounded understanding of nutrition, preventative wellness and the importance of regular bodywork. Karli personally has benefited from Atlas Orthogonal adjustments with Dr. Roth after a lifetime of chronic upper neck dysfunction and is looking forward to working with others through the muscular and fascial unwinding during their atlas treatment. Karli's primary focus is helping people manage chronic pain, improve quality of life and maintain active lifestyles through application of neuromuscular trigger point therapy, myofascial release, sports and orthopedic massage techniques.

    Licensed Massage Therapist

    Leanne is a 2006 graduate of the massage therapy program at Fortis Institute in Forty Fort, PA. She has worked with clients who have chronic pain as well as acute issues. She has also worked in the mental health field for over 20 years and enjoys fostering the connection between physical and mental health. Leanne's primary focus is to help people decrease their pain and improve their overall well-being. She cultivates a quiet, peaceful space to let your body and mind relax.

    Assisted Lymphatic Therapy Practitioner

    Na’ima joined the team at Health Horizons in October 2021 as an Assisted Lymphatic Therapy (ALT) practitioner.  Na’ima is a graduate of NYU and has over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Occupational Therapist. She has specialized training and is certified as an advanced ALT therapist under Dr. Jennifer Gramith. Assisted Lymphatic Therapy is a gentle, light touch, non-invasive technique which uses vibrational, light, and electrical waves to stimulate the proper flow and drainage of the lymphatic system. ALT is helpful for general inflammation, lymphedema, post chemo clearing, headaches, fatigue, Lyme Disease, breast and prostate health, as well as detox and cleansing for overall health.  She utilizes her knowledge and expertise to help people achieve optimal health.
